The Japan-France Vaccine and Infectious Diseases Workshop was held at the Senri Life Science Foundation of Biomedical Cluster Kansai, with the aim of advancing the research and development of vaccine and infectious diseases in France and Japan. French and Japanese researchers in this field were invited to Osaka to participate in the workshop. Six Japanese researchers, including keynote speaker Dr. Shizuo Akira, Director of WPI Immunology Frontier Research Center, Osaka University, and seven French researchers spoke at this event.
